CLIC at ISQOLS 2019 Conference

The International Society for Quality-of-Life Studies (ISQOLS) is a global organization established in 1995 with a mission to promote and encourage research in the field of quality-of-life (QOL), happiness, and wellbeing studies.

The theme of its 17th Conference, hold in the city of Granada (Spain), was Happiness in a Multicultural World. Taking this into consideration, the Conference wanted to be an inspiration for happiness and quality of life towards peace and tolerance and understanding between different peoples. Conference panels were devoted to happiness in research on the quality of life. They addressed the issues of sustainable development, quality of life of excluded groups and young or elder people as well as the relationship between happiness level and working conditions or the implementation of new technologies.

During the poster session, a representative of the University of Warsaw, Bartosz Ślosarski, presented recent results of the team’s research on the quality of life indicators and the representation of basic human values in major quality of life indexes.
