Participation of CLIC project to the 15th Research & Innovation Conference

CLIC took part in the 15th Research & Innovation Conference organized by the University of Portsmouth – Faculty of Business and Law. This is an annual event and aims to expound to the university community the research papers and projects made by the research staff on the six inter-disciplinary thematic areas identified by the University Research and Innovation Strategy (2015-20). These areas are Democratic Citizenship, Future and Emerging Technologies, Health and Wellbeing, Security and Risk, Sustainability and the Environment.

CLIC project was represented by Simona Panaro and Alessio Ishizaka (University of Portsmouth) as representsatives of the Sustainability and Environment section. They introduced the issue of cultural heritage as a tool for urban sustainable development, underlining the need for developing specific methodologies to make operational the new approaches and support complex decision-making procedures. The speech was based on the description of the “Decision support system for adaptive reuse of cultural heritage”.
